Il ministro delle finanze tedesco vuole limitare i poteri della Commissione Europea

The German plan to reduce weight and political functions of the European Commission and, therefore, increase the power of Germany within Europe, part of the will to reorganize the body chaired by Juncker so as to limit the powers. Once again at the center of the project of German supremacy, there is the Minister of Finance of Germany, Schauble, already widely criticized for his extremist positions during the negotiations with Greece. The German proposal comes to coincide with the presentation of the French plan that envisages their greater fiscal unity, but also social in the European Union. It is clear that nothing happened by chance: once again Germany, or at least the German Government in office, is opposed to a vision that seeks to increase the powers of Brussels at the expense of parts of national sovereignty and, above all, could compromise the primacy of Berlin. According to the Minister of Finance of Germany, the European Commission, on the occasion of the negotiations for the resolution of the Greek crisis, had gone far beyond their respective mandates, those identified as guardian of the Treaties and the controller of the common market, to take on a more political role and address. This new role of the European Commission, would, however, according Schauble, in contradiction with the functions laid down by the commission. Of course, this leadership disturbs Germany, which through its Minister of Finance, proposed a project of transfer of power originating in the European Commission to an independent body of the new creation, so that these powers do not conflict in the increasingly prominent politician who is taking over commission. The point of view of Schauble is a political role might diminish the authority to protect the treaties. In reality, the reason seems to be the search for an emptying of authority of the Committee, increasingly seen as a potential opponent of the German role. Even the supposed right to operate in this way, for not hurting the United Kingdom and its subsequent possible exit from Europe, appears specious, because, in fact, wants to open the possibility of reforming the European Treaties in force, just as desired not only from London, but also from Berlin, to conform to the new requirements, especially on financial matters, but also politics, the Germans and the British. These intentions collide clearly, with the needs of those who want to implement a stronger union, based on the political to the detriment of the economic and financial, making these minor points and the service of a political project that is direct to the 'unity of the continent. This results in the termination of portions of sovereignty and, above all, a government that should not be based on matters of fact, such as those that Germany is using now, thanks to the unique importance of its economic supremacy, but on certain standards set by law and therefore well defined and not easily subject to manipulation. It understands that if you want to go in this direction the privileges of command is no longer insured in Germany, that also could be seen tax policy directives regarding the economic aspects, in total contrast to the German intentions. This government in office in Berlin currently can not be said to be contrary to this development in an open European Union, which is still a long way off, but it can hinder it from the start with gimmicks such as that devised by his finance minister. But it is certainly not the right way to prevent the advance of anti-European and populist movements.
