Increasingly close relations between Afghanistan and India

India remains at the center of the international stage with meetings they see his government weave alliances, even in key military: the case of Afghanistan, the country that sent its Indian President Hamid Karzai. The main purpose of the Afghan president is to find new solutions to preserve the country from an offensive by the Taliban, which could be determined with the withdrawal of the international force, which has preserved the new institutions of the country at the cost of great difficulties. India has traditionally been a friend of the Afghan state since 2001, when he fell from the Taliban regime, which was under the influence Pakistan. And it is in this context that explains the Indian interest in Afghanistan, which is seen as a barrier to a possible return of the Islamic extremists who would return to the country of Kabul into the category of Foreign Pakistani allies, going to strengthen the enemies of ' India. New Delhi has already funded directly Afghanistan for the improvement of its infrastructure and the two countries signed a strategic agreement in 2011, which deals with the issues of security, defense and the economy, particularly in the energy and mining sectors. The agreement is particularly important because it was the first of its kind formed from Afghanistan. In the wake of these reports, Karzai, during his trip to India, be deemed to extend collaboration on the topic of defense, asking the Indian country to aid the strengthening of the Afghan military in order to ensure the country's security. This should be essentially supply of arms and training programs organized by members of the Indian Armed Forces to be devoted to training staff in Afghanistan, it is, however, to exclude the presence of Indian contingents on the ground in Afghanistan, for the problems that this fact could be born with Pakistan, would see that as a potential threat to the Indian military beyond its borders north east.
