The UN anticipates the offense of war crimes by Israel

According to the analysis of the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations, the situation in Gaza could prefigure war crimes. The offense is attributable to both the Israeli army, which Hamas; However, the position would be more severe state of Israel, have led to armed attacks against civilians, which have produced a large number of victims, many of whom did not do that conclusively hostile acts against the Israeli state. It should be remembered that the Palestinian victims amounted now to about 600 people, 74% in the percentage of non-combatants, including 147 children and 74 women, which must be added 29 soldiers in Tel Aviv. The high proportion of civilians has prompted the UN to question the methods by which the Israelis are leading the action against Gaza. The UN is not considered sufficient warning methods developed by Tel Aviv, which should safeguard the civilian population, in particular, is challenged the effectiveness of low-explosive ordnance, which precede the bombs themselves, since these missiles warning however, have produced casualties among civilians, who abandoned their homes. The tactics of Hamas, which has hidden the ramps of the missiles that are launched against Israeli territory and relies on the use of the tunnels that run under the built-up area of the strip, turned the civilian population of Gaza into human shields, the purpose of which protective has been exceeded and not considered by the army of Tel Aviv, which affects indiscriminately the densely populated areas. For the UN, this conduct constitutes a blatant violation of international law and can not be considered a mitigating factor the fact that Hamas does the same thing against Israel. According to the IDF military targets that are placed between the civilian houses, makes the latter themselves the targets that may be affected, in a logic that unites entire neighborhoods to military facilities, for the sole fact that they reside in the middle of towns. It is a distorted view, which does not take into account human life and despises humanitarian law absolutely. The justification that the military response occurs as a defense to acts of war by Hamas, consisting of the launch of the missiles, it is not relevant, because the magnitude of the response is disproportionate to the size and the difference of the forces in the field; also defense missile systems have prevented Israeli casualties. The findings of the UN put Israel in a difficult situation at the political level: Palestine may have recourse to the courts of international justice in his capacity as an observer member of the UN, but the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, on his own initiative, open investigations. In addition, the UN has recognized as the blockade of Gaza is illegal and as the arrest in administrative detention of approximately 1,200 Palestinians does not conform to the detention regime. Despite the show of force will only lead Israel to victory on the field, the fate of this campaign seems destined to be bankrupt at the diplomatic level, increasing the isolation of Tel Aviv in the international community. Even the closest allies of Israel believe that the manner in which operations are conducted in Gaza have exceeded any reasonable measure. But Tel Aviv has justified the findings of the members of the High Commissioner for Human Rights as mere emotional reactions, a definition somewhat disturbing, noting that the sensitivity and consideration of the Israeli government towards the civilian victims is far higher.
