Israel plans new construction in the settlements

Despite the efforts of American diplomats the intentions of the government in Tel Aviv are the ones to increase the construction of new housing in Jerusalem, even in the East, and the West Bank. This is the solution advocated by the Israeli Ministry building to solve the housing crisis. This motivation is regularly used as an excuse for political and economic use of the land that would be the Palestinians. The impression is that the acceleration of construction projects aiming to occupy the greatest possible amount of land in view of a possible U.S. diplomatic advanced to the resolution of the Palestinian issue, a goal that would be on the agenda of Obama. However, the Palestinians do not ever sit at a negotiating table with a policy geared to the expansion of the colonies. Possible that in the plans of Tel Aviv, there is then a transfer of territory occupied and annexed demolition, but also, probably, this may cover a small portion of the occupied territories. This will provide yet another excuse for Israel to slow down the negotiations, as done until now, continuing to make the negotiations a deal without end. The attitude of the Israeli government, which includes in its structure a party whose electoral program is precisely to increase the settlements, remains puzzling in the face of global condemnation of the practice of increasing the colonies and does not take into account the impact that arouses in the Arab world , especially in a historical moment in which the Middle East region is crossed by repeated upheavals and the balance is far from assured. The news, then, is yet another block in negotiations required that can not be carried forward to the sole will of the government in Tel Aviv.
