Iran wants to resume nuclear talks

The new Iranian President Rohani, former nuclear negotiator always the question in 2003, said in his press conference debut, he is ready to resume negotiations for nuclear power. However Rohani has made it clear that the country of Iran will not cease their studies for uranium enrichment, not giving up its sovereignty decisions. The confirmation of the continuity of what is considered an inalienable right, puts Iran, regarding the nuclear issue, at the same point where it was before the election. Part of the West, however, remains confident that it can achieve an agreement with Iran, at least to avoid the possible enrichment for military purposes, trusting in the peaceful will of the new president. However, remain very negative impressions of the U.S. and Israel, who fear that a country still deeply imbued with religious radicalism could become a nuclear power. The United States has already prepared new sanctions that are likely to be approved by the Senate, and that link to hit oil exports, industrial production agreements for the manufacture of motor vehicles and the use of Iranian currency in international transactions. These sanctions would exacerbate the already difficult economic situation in Tehran, a factor that contributed to the victory of Rohani. The moderate leader, in fact, has gained the presidential throne, as well as thanks to the promises of more freedom in the country, also promising a loosening of the serious economic situation suffered by the Iranian middle class, a victim of the increasingly more stringent sanctions, through which they try to force Iran to give up its nuclear dream. What you fear among analysts is that the address has not changed with Iranian Rohani, who through a more conciliatory policy, continues the tactic of reference that has characterized the last ten years, allowing Tehran to achieve an ever higher in nuclear technology. Israel has not given up, just because of these delays, their intentions of preventive war, so far barely contained by Washington, which seems to align itself more and more to the positions of Tel Aviv, although always looking for a way of diplomatic pressure. The Iranian official line remains that the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, in order to increase its ability to produce electricity, but the stubbornness to block any visit to the International Atomic Energy Agency sites indicted, has more than a little suspicious nations Westerners. In this context emerges the position of Russia, perhaps in conjunction with the tensions with the U.S., is promoting an imminent resumption of the dialogue to be done by September, a position shared, albeit with smoother tone from the representative of the EU Affairs Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton.
