Egypt: the government and the military are trying to diminish the influence of the religious favorable to the Muslim Brotherhood

The measures of isolation and exclusion from society of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood movement , their members and groups close to them , by the government forces and the Egyptian army , they're honing in a different direction from that of the simple repression. The aim of the offensive government is to limit as much as possible, to minimize the impact of social , religious deemed too extremists, who by their preaching in mosques , they are still influencing the faithful . The importance and the social significance of the religious ideas of the vehicle , remains central in a country like Egypt, which has numerous abnormalities of growth and where the presence of religion is deeply rooted and listened . The religious Muslims, who make up the whole confessional Egyptian , have not , as generally happens in other denominations , a unique attitude and uniformly with respect to the vision of the application of the precepts and its dissemination . The rest of the country the mixture of religion and politics has remained very high, despite the attempts of repressive Mubarak to nip this link . Quite the combination intimately linked between the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic clerics , often represented , especially in some periods, the greater the Egyptian dictatorship form of dissent , which has been able to make inroads in favor of the population with an incessant work of practical actions directed by ' assistance , to the material organization of the uprising . It was these conditions , moreover, that have made the electoral success of the Muslim Brotherhood , who were able to collect voters' preferences less educated and involved in street demonstrations , those who were less familiar with the technological means , but who were entrusted with sermons of the muezzin . This implication was clear to military forces which toppled Mursi and the political forces that have supported this decision. However, the first stage of standardization has had to deal with the military conquest of the first centers of power , then the squares , bringing the Egyptian country to a situation as close as possible to remain calm. At this stage , while constantly monitoring the activities of the religious centers was not appropriate to go to exercise too much control pressing the Islamic clergy , who supported the brotherhood . The laws enacted that outlawed fundamentalist movements , now give the opportunity to the state apparatus to compress the influence of those centers that Muslims , with their preaching , are considered sources of fomenting and agitation of that part of the population that did not like the change at the top of Egypt. Basically it is not to allow the preaching about 55,000 imams, who have not graduated from the University of Al Azhar , the most prestigious prep school of theology of Sunni Islam . The vision of this university is characterized by a less radical and more moderate interpretation of Islam and also his manager , Ahmed Tayyeb , has always maintained a critical stance against the extremist attitude of the Brotherhood. For the incumbent government and the military is a crucial ally to reconcile political activity by adherence to religious criteria less strict . Both the upper echelons of the armed forces , that those policies , with few exceptions , in fact, have always professed their religion, but in identifying a more moderate Islam and respecting political institutions , without a frantic quest to impose sharia law as a fundamental law . This aspect is crucial in the development of the Egyptian state , as it is the key to arrive at a form of democracy relieved from religious imposition , without , however, severing relations , determinants , with the religious class of the country , even the most moderate . Despite this decision , of strategic importance , combat the phenomenon of preachers in favor of brotherhood they will not be easy : the birth of clandestine mosques , grown in large numbers, is the most important objective difficulty in the plans of the government, which will have to devote considerable time before to eradicate or reduce the phenomenon in considerable ways , without considering the negative aspects that may arise as a reaction to a decision that will be seen as yet another illiberal interference of the military.
