China faces the problem of pollution

The problem of environmental pollution has already assumed alarming proportions in the country of China : the great economic boost , which has focused primarily on the manufacturing sector , has imposed high energy consumption , resulting in values of the air strongly altered and highly harmful for the population. The doctor gave the most significant is that the leading cause of death for Chinese nationals male is represented by tumors to the lungs and the same cause is the second among women. The figure thus becomes highly relevant social and economic costs associated with that directly , health care costs, and indirect loss of workers and knowledge, go to affect the financial statements of China. Using too pushed coal as an energy source , is a major cause of pollution, and it is significant that in cities where there are industrial equipment powered by this fuel , the incidence of malignancies related to the respiratory system is a test clear of the harmful effects of the alteration of the values of the air on the quality and duration of life. An outstanding example of this trend curve is represented by the capital, where lung cancer is increased by 56 % in the period between 2001 and 2010, and where the disease represents a fifth of the total of all cancer patients . According to the data gathered in Beijing for the concentration of particulate matter has reached peaks of 800-900 micrograms per meter , when the values recommended by the World Health Organization should be around 25 micrograms per square meter. These are huge differences , which enable us to understand , better than any other research, because of the wide spread of oncological diseases related to the respiratory system . The situation in Beijing is not an isolated case, but is common to the whole country and is concentrated in the industrial areas and cities with high population density , where the smog caused by automotive vehicles adds to the pollution of complex manufacturing operations. It is not uncommon that several cities in China are constantly shrouded in a layer of thick fog produced by the polluting fumes , which in addition to causing respiratory problems , it also prevents the passage of sunlight. It is , therefore, a real social emergency , which has forced the Chinese government to allocate a budget of about 211 billion euro over the next three years, to try to stem this phenomenon that affects the entire nation . The largest percentage , about 36% will be dedicated to investments to purify the air from particulate matter, while 28 % will be invested in renewable energy systems , and the remainder to build vehicles with engines capable of being highly polluting less . This direction impressed by the Chinese government , which is showing more sensitive to environmental issues , not only to the severity of the data concerning the pathologies associated with the phenomena of pollutants , but also to the action of pressure from environmental groups and the general increased sensitivity of the population, is a relative novelty in the political landscape of China, who can no longer postpone the problems common to other countries. Even with the single party of the objective difficulties can not be dismissed , especially in a society that has less and less isolated and become aware of the most basic rights . On the other hand this solution designed from the apparatus , it lacks a vision of more integrated into the global context, with a view able to have an overview of the phenomenon of pollution on a global scale , this, however , is consistent with China's policy on management of their own problems , that do not allow outside interference . To note also the supreme importance of the economic data : China remains a country of growing concern as much as possible , returning with two zeros rates : to pursue these programs , rather than eliminate pollution , or even reduce it strongly , it is necessary , more than anything else, a sustainable balance between the two factors , where the most important is always an increase in the gross domestic product.
