The European Union for the solution of two states: Israel and Palestine

The European Union is determined to speed up the process of the creation of a Palestinian state, a factor considered crucial to resolving the crisis between Israel and Palestine. The European Union is the main trading partner of Israel, but also the donor of Palestine; is therefore in a dual role that might favor it in the case of negotiations, also the fact that the correct Europe, the continent to which Israel is culturally bound, could help the peace process. However, the arrival on the scene by the EU, with these conditions, is at the same time an element of strong pressure on Israel. An example can be formed by the behavior of the European boycott goods from illegal settlements, by not applying the benefits falling trade agreements between Israel and the European Union. This sign explains better than any other how the EU should consider outside of international law settlements. It will be necessary to see if these starting points then Israel will accept the mediation, but it seems clear now that this time the EU has decided to play a greater role than in the past, and the United States itself, which, it should be remembered, come see an unexpected help in terms of the negotiation.
