The challenge of terrorism against the West

From the point of view of the terrorist act in itself, the claim of Al Qaeda could indicate a resurgence of Bin Laden, when supplanted by the Caliphate in the scale of appreciation of the extremists. Al Qaeda has suffered significant losses and has not been able to exert a broad vision as the Islamic state, which is close to building a state form marked by Jihad. This element has been an undoubted source of success, which has resulted in substantial funding and enrollments, which have made it world supremacy in the Islamic fundamentalist. Although the Caliphate arises essentially from Al Qaeda, there are differences between the two movements, though certainly not accentuated.
