The case greek as opportunities
What was supposed to be a political concession to the new government greek, from the European Commission, the replacement of the troika, met German opposition; However, the German attitude appears more cosmetic, actually in Berlin they would have realized that a continuation of the positions of rigor to the bitter end could lead to a split of the members of the euro, it would then be difficult to reassemble. Also because there is already a deep division in the European Union, about their conduct towards Athens. Rome and Paris are from Greece, and this position is functional to crack the German hegemony, which resulted in the excessive rigor, while countries that have already sustained heavy sacrifices and are out of the crisis, such as Portugal and Ireland for a harder line. Germany is opposed to the mechanism of the troika, because it considers it a tested system, however, the Commission chaired by Juncker favors a more political solution, which is equipped with its own democratic legitimacy able to present the solution conceived as the result of a political process instead of mere financial calculations. The Commission relies entirely on this solution so as to seek the unanimity of the members; the reason is to be able to present the European institution in a new light with targets well beyond the quota problem greek, intention, in fact, is to provide a good argument to overcome increasingly rampant skepticism towards the European institution. Even from across the Atlantic signals are in favor of measures that could allow Greece to overcome the current financial problems and that they can then allow lower budget constraints for the other European states. Washington is a battle on two fronts: on the one hand the need to take down the world economy as a factor of further growth for the US itself, while the other side you enter as part of geopolitical reasons. The news, then denied by the government greek, that Athens would accept the aid of Russia, has shaken the White House, who can not afford to have one side just discovered that side after Turkey has loosened the ties with the US, to pursue their own path on the international road to reset its influence on the area corresponding to the old Ottoman Empire. This means increased attention to Athens at a time when relations with Russia are very tense for war Ukrainian. The US must ensure their full support to the new government greek, which also has much in tune with Obama, not to lose a valuable ally thanks to its geographical position. The messages in favor of the new government of Greece, from Washington, must therefore be read in these two ways, the economic one, but watched with a wider view and one related to international politics. The general climate that has been created around the case greek, albeit with obvious problems to be solved, it is generally positive; although for different reasons, we perceive the need to take a cue from the new political situation in Greece gained to change the organization, especially politicians, who have until now dictated economic measures that have ruled Europe. The need to create new political processes and achieve maximum involvement of the suburbs, designed as state governments, for them to become decision-makers is now considered essential to eliminate the perception of the decisions come from the top; this aspect is as true of the Mediterranean countries but also for those in the north, where we capture as many signs of discomfort with the central institution in Brussels, which should be revised in view of the necessary path toward unification policy so as to create a subject major international and combined, which can carry out the requests of the European peoples and not just financial institutions.
