Libya intervention is needed Western

One of the world scene that is not followed with due attention is Libyan. The country is facing a deep institutional crisis due to the presence of two executive directors, which, in fact, divided the nation and do not allow the necessary governance and decision, especially against the advance of the Islamic state. The position of Libya should put on alert and action the European nations, especially those bordering the Mediterranean, who have a vested interest in the stability of the country. Instead, for now the European strategy appears characterized by a necessary unity of purpose and international organizations contributing to this state of things, not making their voices heard. In view of the village, in addition to the political division between the Government of Tobruk, internationally recognized, and to Tripoli, which, on the contrary, does not enjoy the diplomatic recognition, it accentuates the problem of the presence of the Islamic state, which becomes the third subject of contention, taking advantage of the large power vacuums in Libya. In this context, the actor appears weaker the government, democratically elected, but forced to flee to Tobruk, which would need practical help, framed within a more strategic. The government that took office in Tripoli, has some large areas of ambiguity for which contiguity with the Islamic militias and the use of migrants that has, as a weapon of blackmail to the West, by replicating the strategy of Gaddafi. The coastal center of the country, that is the capital cities, where the city of Sirte, appears less guarded and this promotes the penetration of the Islamic state, which relies on the arsenals of Gaddafi. To seek a solution to this situation the government of Tobruk had requested the intervention of the Arab League, but the meeting did not lead to any solution to the divisions within the international organization, due to the lack of decision on which government favor . The doubts of the Arab League are due, in part, to religious that mixes with the political necessity and thus prevents the organization to take sides with the legitimately elected government. This problem, albeit for different reasons, is what prevents a clear diplomatic line also to Western countries, especially those in the Mediterranean, which for reasons of expediency, prefer to maintain a dialogue with both the executive. This need could be understood if Western governments were able to make a diplomatic effort to allow a productive dialogue between the two governments in the area, conversely, as in practice, appears only a tactic that does not yield any result. The Arab League summit was convened to allow the government to Tobruk to request the formation of a military force against the caliphate, but no concrete action has been taken and it did not go beyond the statements of principle on the need for a strategy common against terrorism. The Arab League will meet again on August 27, but no guarantee of arriving at a decision able to prevent the advance of the Islamic state. However, the request of the Government of Tobruk, may be examined by Western countries, especially as an investment on their safety; certainly the decision is difficult because it means an entry into the war and may expose countries participating in this possible military retaliation of terrorists, but the only alternative is to leave the southern shore of the Mediterranean in the hands of Islamic extremism, which It could join dangerously with the Syrian and African. The moment of choice will become inevitable sooner or later, because the only diplomacy does not seem to be enough in such complex, certainly is necessary to cover the United Nations, but postponed it still means only delay, and thus make it more complicated, a move almost certainly indispensable.
