Heighten the contrasts between Turkey and Europe

The current diplomatic crisis between Turkey and several EU countries, aggravated the relationship that Ankara holds with Europe and Western countries. The fundamental issue is the claim of the turkish government to be able to hold rallies in front of the Turkish community, regarding those eligible to vote, citizens with dual nationality, present abroad, to plead the cause of the shift from a presidential parliamentary republic. In the West, the current perception of Erdogan's policy is not positive: Turkey has entered a stage in its history where secularism seems to be reduced in favor of more conducive to a religious aspect invasion norms of social and political life, also after failure of the coup, has been exacerbated the reduction in civil rights, especially those relating to freedom of the press, with imprisonment of many journalists opposed to government policy. A change in Presidential sense is seen in a negative way because Europe would increase the powers of Erdogan, who is not identified as a strictly libertarian tendencies. Turkey has suffered very Western and European criticism, pouring, in turn, heavy on Europe and considerations often accusing her of Islamophobia. At the base there is also resentment at the refusal by Ankara access to the European Union, but with the evolution of Erdogan to power the situation has become increasingly tense. But it is also true that the European Union has sought to use Turkey to stop migrants, with substantial contribution of three billion Euros, thus trying to prevent the conflicts at the refusal of some States to accept quotas of refugees on its soil . Basically you are asked Ankara to carry out the dirty work in REPLACING Europe, however, even this has provoked strong contrasts because Europe has often objected to the treatment of refugees to Turkey, while the turkish government has failed to obtain the free movement of its citizens within the Union, a point to which the turkish government was very keen. In this climate, certainly not easy, the turkish government has purported to want to carry out the campaign in favor of presidentialism and then Erdogan, outside its borders, especially in countries where this activity could create hardships and difficulties for the concomitant presence of elections, such as the Netherlands, or large groups opposed to this kind of invasion of the field. If the situation is more tense with the Netherlands, even the opposition of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Sweden, to which must be added Denmark, notes that the behavior of the Turkish government is not welcome. In essence, if the Turkish propaganda had been allowed, it could create tensions within the social components in the different countries, both right and left politically motivated; the first would not like the intrusion of an external issue to their own country, while the latter were opposed to the action of a government considered illiberal. This could cause problems of management, even of public policy, the rallies demanded by the turkish government; in any case send ministers or official representatives of a foreign government on the territory of another state appears an unusual practice and which could lead, as in these cases, even strong contrasts. This has not only increased the distrust Erdogan, which has aggravated the situation with statements out of place and totally irrelevant, accompanied by unjustified threats, which have turned out counter productive, especially when you consider the situation of the turkish tourism sector. It's also not hard to imagine how in a situation with roles reversed, what would be the behavior of the turkish government. The feeling is that both in the short and medium term, it will be difficult that the relations between Turkey and the Union, especially with some countries, they can be recovered: we are facing a diplomatic crisis that could have an impact on the issue of migrants and on the structure of alliances as the Atlantic Alliance, already considerable difficulties in managing previous crises and totally taken aback by the current conflicts between some of its member states. The result is that Turkey is moving further away from Europe, both physically and politically, that the application of the rights plan: a gap difficult to fill, now.
