Causes of political issues of the Arab states

What is happening in Iraq, with the advance of the Sunni insurgents , who deny the sovereignty of the unitary state , ruled by the Scythians , should be seen in a broader perspective , beyond the physical and temporal boundaries that limit , from the point of territorial and chronological view , what is happening. There is, in fact, a correlation with the movements resulting from the Arab Spring and the fact that history has decided to present the effects of the far end of the colonial policies , clumsily by the Western powers decided well after the end of World War II . Looking from the northern shores of the Mediterranean, and in general from the western countries , the riots that marked the end of the Arab dictatorships , there was the hope of a democratization process that would bring the countries bordering on the southern shores of the Mediterranean Sea , but not limited to embrace in a very short time modes of governance and democratic exercise , which conversely have a very long time for the European countries . There was a clear illusion that the new technologies and the long periods of emigration , could have a decisive influence on the course of political change in these countries. This illusion , in some ways it was also justified , because these items were very present in the riots , only that their sizes were much lower within the totality of the subjects who participated in the will of the change in shape of state and government . Moreover contributed to this optical distortion of the fact that in the early stages of the mass uprisings of the rebels was almost indistinct , and these trends , which stood out in the eyes of Westerners , seemed to have the greatest influence and the ability of management and organization of the entire movement against the system . In fact, after the elections have shown that the secular and closer to democratic forms are designed in a classic way for the West , it was only a minor part . The victory of the movements that refer to Islam , albeit with different nuances, has highlighted how Arab societies were willing to take a completely different path than that of full democracy , where that is not the winner takes all the power, but maintains a forced respect for minorities and has a different attitude toward civil rights . The theory that the Arab Spring would not be born for a willingness to move toward democracy but toward the establishment of Islamic law then is not so far-fetched. Whether it's a well planned project or who took a turn along the way is hard to say , however, retrospectively analyzing the moves of Muslim movements in several countries one can not but notice a line of conduct which has several features in common . This is a fact , albeit with different gradations in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt , Syria, and even Iraq . The classic scheme is the evolution of the uprising , which initially joined the protesters of the most diverse origin policy , which then tend to divide, even in a violent manner , the most striking example is represented by Syria , according to their ideas development of state organization that needs to replace the fallen . The confessional movements are conscious of moving in backward societies , where the technological capabilities or the propensity to secular democracy , only minorities are more or less likely to be put on the edge , resulting in a better grip on populations anchored to religion , both I believe that as a form of psychological and social support to fight the repression of the past regimes and poverty often endemic in underdeveloped areas . The culture medium , then , for the movement political religious favors the electoral success of parties that have as their sole purpose the establishment of laws even less libertarian than those in force during the dictatorships , based on the denial of civil rights and the oppression of minorities. In Tunisia, this direction seems to have been slowed by the possible adoption of a shared constitution, which , although still contains elements of doubt, apparently heading towards a greater respect of the enjoyment of civil and political rights . In Egypt , by contrast, there was no need for the intervention of the army, in a manner not acceptable, to curb the interference of religion . Then there are the cases where the revolts against the established power mixes with the artifices of the end of the colonial regime , able to create new state entities , who have assembled populations different and often hostile . In Africa the racial breakdown , which resulted in the genocide have paternity in the decisions taken by the former colonial powers , able to create hybrids with no sense . In Arab countries, until now the glue was made from dictatorships , which , in the end, they were helpful , for various reasons to Western countries , therefore , have a double responsibility on the fate of these countries. In Libya, there are potentially three nations into a single state entity , which can not escape from the civil war , so to Yemen , Syria, and Iraq itself , to which we have lost the opportunity of a reorganization of the state , after the Saddam's fall , which would give balance and stability to the area. These reasons have also contributed to a phenomenon that dictatorships could keep controlled , although in a violent manner , together with the ethnic differences : religious differences . The association between the thrust of certain religious movements , with the collapse of the dictatorships pushes in the direction of creating smaller states but characterized by the same religious affiliation : it is a phenomenon entirely within Islam , where the dichotomy between Sunnis and Shiites is the source of greater contrast , but that's not the only one, because there are other nuances of the religion of Muhammad often in stark contrast to each other. One should not overlook that the dictatorships of the Arab countries often expressed or expressed , for those still standing , a coincidence between constituted power and religious affiliation in a derivation of the Islamic creed which had as its first feature to harass the opposing religious current . This is the fundamental reason that is characterizing the war and Syrian unrest concerning Iraq. As you can see the current situation is the daughter of various causes, which seem to have taken over the traditional issues that affect international relations , since it is often dynamic internal to states, which then have , however, an important impact on the world stage .
