U.S. and Jordan attempt the revival of the peace process between Israel and Palestine

The need of the United States to revive the peace process between Israel and Palestine does not stop despite the victory of the moderates in Iran, due to the continuing crisis in Syria, which does not seem to find solutions. Washington is focusing a conciliation between the two parties to be able to cope in the best way the question of Syria and needs to present evidence that they can, at least, to witness unlocking the stalemate, now firm since 2010. In this time interval Tel Aviv took advantage of the international situation to turn to their advantage the delicate and precarious balance of the Middle East zone not keeping to the agreement with the Palestinian side, especially on the issue of settlements, the United States, while not sharing methods Israelis have never gone beyond statements of the facade, because they are very committed to curb Israel's willingness to lead an armed attack against Tehran as part of the nuclear issue. It must be said that the attitude of the former Iranian president, very threatening against Tel Aviv, has played a favorable role for the policy pursued by the administration, center-oriented, in office in Israel, which had easy game has lead to a policy aggressive, which allowed to cover other objectives. One of these, which is crucial for the political party in power in the state of Star of David, was, in fact the relationship with the Palestinians, made of a continuous stop and go on issues relating to the territories. The continued violation of the agreement made it possible to subtract the Palestinians remarkable spaces of land that had come under their administration that the rare and meager culling colonies certainly did not do it rebalanced compensated. The U.S. is well aware of this situation, even for not having intervened, trying now with the Secretary of State Kerry to organize, together with Jordan, a new diplomatic effort can unlock the negotiations. We are still at an embryonic moment, which, thanks to the mediation of King Abdullah II, to start from the initial separate meetings. Kerry first meet Netanyahu and then Abbas, President of Palestinian National Authority. At these meetings should follow joint summit, attended by U.S. Secretary of State, the respective controllers to keep the peace process in Amman. This meeting is widely advocated by the state of Jordan, which is becoming increasingly important in the revival of the peace process.
