Sunni extremists take control of two towns in Iraq
The situation is becoming more difficult in Iraq between Shiites and Sunnis. The state of Iraq can not overcome the deep political and religious divisions that are tearing apart the society of the country . Ruled with an iron fist by Saddam , the country did not emerge because the current government policy contrasts consisted of fierce repression , which most often related to the Scythians , in power since there was a Sunni majority . The advent American, who liberated the country from Saddam , without normalizing the situation , he always left a nation formally united within the same boundaries , but governed by a weak executive , without the strength to bring peace to a previous situation made strong contrasts. As a last resort it might have been better to divide Iraq into three separate entities , which would mirror the divisions : Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds. If the latter, even for the great help given to the American army , enjoy administrative autonomy which makes it almost a part in its own right within the state, the other two groups were generally subject to the central authority in Baghdad. to the difficult relationship of mutual resentment made for the previous treatment suffered or enjoyed under Saddam's regime , was joined by the rivalry of religious extremism and even elements of international politics, they do not see foreign powers traditionally on opposing camps such as Iran and Gulf states . It is no secret that Iran finances the Scythians and think of some sort of protection for the areas inhabited by them , or even a Scythian annexation of the provinces . To link against the Gulf states to the affirmation of the party Sunni parts of Iraq also to remove the influence of Tehran. In this context , more and more complex , where the U.S. responsibility continues to be high and where the voice of Washington is registered only for its deafening silence , insert elements of fracture with the balance , albeit fragile , and that are reflected in the country with infiltration of terrorists and commingling of these with members of Islamic Jihad . The overlap between jihadist fighters and Al Qaeda is now a fact of life in some areas of the country, where there have been real attacks on police stations and prisons , leading to liberation of prisoners , and even the mosques were occupied . The state of Iraq has in fact lost its sovereignty in the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi , where government troops are unable to regain control. These are two cities that are strongholds of Sunni , where it seems that thousands of radical fighters have occupied government buildings and now prevent the return of the army with guerrilla tactics, guarding the entrances to the city with snipers placed on rooftops of the tallest buildings . If the legitimate government will not be able to regain control of the territory and bring it back under its sovereignty there is a risk of a weld even more with Sunni extremists fighting in neighboring Syria , where he could take the union of the territories under the control of Sunni torn Assad with those Iraqis fled the sovereignty of Baghdad. This event is a project of the terrorist network Al Qaeda and Islamic extremists , who want to create a caliphate where Sharia law is the fundamental law and that could form the basis for Islamic terrorism worldwide . Underestimate what is happening in Iraq is , therefore, very dangerous for the future structure of world equilibrium and in this context we can understand how it is done the military attack against Damascus by the United States and is still preferred to keep the country united Iraq . However, it is also true that this has encouraged extremists in Syria, because the democratic forces have not been able to count on equal help , while in Iraq, the failure to grant autonomy to the Sunnis , in a controlled environment , has allowed us to develop the discontent resulting from extremism . A situation so difficult to read and even more difficult to solve , which must not be left to itself , but brought under some form of control , including through international aid .
