The European Union is studying alternatives for diplomatic relations with Russia

The European Union reflects on what attitude to take towards Russia; the proximity to oblige Moscow to good neighborly relations, also because of the volume of exports to the country economic ranging Russian, but the behavior of the Kremlin's foreign policy, which has repeatedly violated international law, requires also measures retaliation to restore border security. The latter are more intransigent on the action to be taken against Moscow, because they fear the revival of Russian imperialism, provided that they have already suffered in previous years and have not at all forgotten. These countries, while retaining their internal parts, even large, their societies where Russia still collecting relevant sympathies, are led by executives who would like a further tightening of sanctions and call for greater military presence of the Atlantic Alliance. They are key partners for the White House strategy that is leading it towards Russia, because without their support and their demands would be tiring to convince the Western allies to follow a policy of rigidity in economic sanctions. However, the EU wants to regain its political independence, especially after the change of European summits; actually the attitude of past EU was too under statement and almost dominated the White House, also because of the lack of tools to adopt a common policy. Not even the current representatives, for the truth, no such legislation but, perhaps because they start their experience, seem to be more willing to take advantage of the EU as a subject more relevant in the international arena. Certainly it will be necessary to agree instances defensive eastern members, with the most diplomatic of Western countries, who intend to also recover the share of exports lost because of the sanctions regime applied to Moscow.
